I’m so excited!!! I just bought these cute palm-sized glass containers. They can be used in the oven and the microwave, so it saves a lot of cooking time. I decided to try microwave cooking as it’s so convenient and there is minimal washing up to do – just 2 palm-sized containers! Perfect snack portions too!
I decided to start with something very simple as it’s my first time trying this out. I certainly didn’t want any disasters! 😛 Here are the ingredients.
1 handful roughly sliced button mushrooms
15 1cm x 1cm x 1cm cubes of turkey breast ham
1 cube 1cm x 1cm x 1cm butter
1 teaspoon cream cheese
1 handful grated mozzarella
Black pepper (optional)
And now for the steps. To make it more convenient, I’ve labelled each photo with the number sequence.
#1 Line the base of the small microwave-safe glass container with the turkey ham cubes. Place the butter in the centre.
#2 Surround the butter with sliced button mushrooms. Top with 1 teaspoon of cream cheese, loosely cover with the lid (do NOT fasten), then microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well with chopsticks.
#3 Add grated mozzarella and fill the gaps as best as you can. Loosely cover with the lid (do NOT fasten), then microwave on high for 1 minute.
#4 Stir in a pinch of black pepper if needed, then serve immediately.
We love it!!! 😀 Cherry said she’ll make it for my precious niece and for parties!
